As always, I am journaling way after the fact. Good thing I only have one kid. My baby is FINALLY old enough for nursury. I didn't know what to expect when I dropped her off. As always she suprised me. She walked right in and never looked back. A tiny (very, very tiny) part of me wanted it to be a fluke, I wanted emotion this week when I dropped her off...to prove to anyone (mostly me) that my baby still needs me. No such luck. We had a repeat of her first week, walked right in and never looked back. I guess I don't need to spend the next few years wondering how she will do her first day of school....
I have no pictures for this event either. The camera was lost...and then found and forgotten. Oops. You'll have to take my word that she was awful cute!

Of course she was cute - it's little Miss Rae : ) Congrats on Nursery, that is a huge milestone. I remember Douglas going to Nursery the first time. I wasn't surprised that he walked right in and was fine. What did surprise me was that I got a little teary eyed when I sat down in Relied Society - empty handed ! And then when he started Sun Beams, I wasn't surprised that he did really well sitting with his class. What surprised me was that I was sad that he wouldn't be coming to visit me at least once to go to the bathroom.
See you later at lunch, I can't wait !
Yeah! She is a big girl now! I know what you mean though about you wanting them to miss you even a little. Mine were the same "Bye Mom!"
What a big girl! It took Katelyn a few weeks to completely get the hang of things- Now she's a pro:)
Clara still gets sad when I leave most of the time... and it's been eight months. It's not all it's cracked up to be, trust me. :)
Definitely a milestone in the LDS world!! I bet you're breathing a little sigh of relief right now! ;) And don't count on her always going to nursery so easily. Inevitably, there comes a time where there are tears involved at drop-off. Maybe you'll be a lucky one!
