Movie night!

I love enjoying a little quality time watching movies we can all enjoy, even if one of us is in the corner with his own entertainment!

Ranch!

Anyone who knows the Johnsons, knows they have an obsession with ranch. We have spent the last 2 years wondering where this ranch hating boy came from. Good news is, today he joined the dark side! He enjoyed ranch with a side of chicken nuggets for lunch.

Good Day

I can't say anything noteworthy HAPPENED today, but this was the first day in a long time where my attitude was kept in check. I am just feeling so grateful these little people are mine forever! While that may not be big, it's still a win in my book...

You will never convince this kid that the tv isn't touchscreen, I've tried. Now we just have to wait for technology to catch up to his toddler demands!

Ammon discovered he enjoys locking the door behind me every time I leave. I discovered it would be wise to carry my keys on my person at all times!

Target cartwheel savings app had a coupon today for 40% off shoes for the family. Needless to say, everybody (except dad) in this family will be waking up to a new pair of shoes tomorrow! Four pairs for less than $40!

Funny snuggle

Ammon doesn't really seem to care for most face-to-face contact. He will back in to your arms if asked for a hug, blow kisses (but not kiss), and he has his very own form of snuggling. He climbs up on the couch next to me (grey sweatshirt in this pic on the left), and puts his feet on my shoulder. I really hate feet! Nobody else would get away with this, but I'll take pretty much any snuggle I can get from that cute baby!

Centurion!

Today is the 100th day of school, and all of kindergarten is celebrating! In addition to her 100 day feast, Laynee got to dress up as a 100 year old and parade the school! She's going to be a really cute grandma someday!

MLK Play Day

To celebrate the life of a man who stood for equality, we decided to head to the park and make some new friends. The girls lived rollerblading with cousins and feeding the ducks. Ammon just had a dogged determination to swim with the ducks...

Friday nap

I didn't think he would take one today, but he finally fell asleep around 3:30. Normally I would wake him up, and I'm sure at bedtime I'll wish I had, but he is too cute to bother for now.

It worked all day for the kids. Guess this mom won't be spending her free time in front of the Tele tonight...

Dental health!

The girls had their semiannual appointment with Aunt Janet today to have their teeth cleaned. Happy to report no cavities!

FHE Fail

For FHE tonight, I decided the girls and I would clean their room/closet, organize, and hopefully find their missing Kindle.  The way it acutely went down, they cried on the couch for two hours while I worked alone. Sometimes it's hard to have Jeff on graveyard and have to do everything alone while he sleeps...

The girls had an awesome time playing at the park for cute Alexa's birthday!

Hello there!

I went out for a much needed girls night tonight. As I was walking up the sidewalk to come home, all I could think of was how refreshed I felt after a little time off. Then I opened up the door and saw this. Laynee had been begging all night while I was gone, to snuggle with me. I was so happy to oblige! I'm going to bed tonight feeling grateful for these rug-rats, even if Rae refused to be in my picture...

We went with grandma and grandpa McKee to In-N-Out for dinner. I was shocked when this cute boy put this hat on his head. I was the opposite of surprised when he wouldn't slow down for a picture!

The Very Best Time Of Day

While Jeff keeps working his wonky schedule, I find there isn't too much down time for me. I eat up every second of the quiet after the kids are in bed. It just happens to sweeten the deal that the girls insist on sharing a twin bed rather than each sleeping in her own!

Flashback Tuesday?

I forgot to post or take a picture yesterday. To make up for it, I thought I'd post a flashback to the Monday before Christmas. We had a big Cluff christmas party, and a highlight for the girls was the firetruck!

One of THOSE days!

Saturday was a miserable day. I needed fresh cookies, and they happen to have been the very best part of my day! I ended Saturday with my post, but Blogger wouldn't post! Par for the course that day...

Mickey!

This cute boy refused to take off his Mickey Mouse pajama top today. It's the first time ever he has expressed an opinion on what he wanted to wear. Also might be the first time he has expressed an opinion without a tantrum!

Sunday!

We meet with the Johnsons every Sunday for dinner. It's always good food and better company.  I just love how much these girls LOVE their cousins!

Snow day!

With all the cold and rain we has the last few days, we decided to head up to Payson to see what Mother Nature brought to the high country. The whole family had a blast playing together. Rae's favorite part was the icicles hanging from the buildings. Laynee's favorite was tubing down the little bunny hills beside the parking lot. Ammon's favorite was just being outside and free to stomp. It was enough fun, we decided to have an encore trip in a few weeks!

New Year Recovery

After being up until midnight last night, they decided a 6pm nap sounded like a great idea. I wouldn't have been able to sleep with all those moving feet on a loveseat, so Rae and I decided to refrain. I'm glad they love eachother enough to share a couch...
